Our class teaches Scottish Highland Broadsword & Okinawan Shito-Ryu Karate.
Classes are Monday and Tuesday evenings at the Oregon City United Methodist Church, 18955 S. South End Road, Oregon City, OR 97045.

Our Highland Broadsword is based primarily on the works of Angelo and Page, with additional study of McBane and Silver. We emphasize accuracy and control, good form, good footwork, off-line movements, and good blocking and evasion techniques.
Our Shito-Ryu Karate has an emphasis on learning effective striking & blocking. Essential skills such as movement, timing, hand-eye coordination, balance, & overall physical fitness are also emphasized.
We also teach bo/quarterstaff & jo/walking stick techniques.
We also occasionally host seminars by visiting experts. Pictured below are local martial arts instructors and students who attended a seminar given by Hanshi and 8th degree black belt John Sells in March of 2007.
